Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients
  • Listen, gather facts, analyze needs and make responsible financial recommendations utilizing our products and services (i.e.: life insurance, annuities, mutual funds, long term care, disability, college planning, retirement planning and liability management)
  • Expand personal knowledge and skills through joint work with fellow associates

Our number one top representative made $118,000 in his first 12 months, plus benefits, right out of college. Overall average is around $50,000, plus benefits, in the first 12 months. This is one of the few businesses that you get a raise in income just servicing your clients. The better you serve your clients the more you will earn, called renewals/service fees.

For qualified individuals, we have an 18-24 month salary plus commission program. (Salary is guaranteed by the previous 3 months commission)

Training Process:

Spectrum Financial Group believes a structured training plan is the best format to build a solid foundation that will lead to a successful career as a Financial Advisor. At Spectrum Financial Group, we believe every associate should be trained to the fullest extent of our capability as an organization enabling each associate reach their full potential.

Along with product and service training, we also offer immense training in how to develop client relationships and build a successful practice, which includes:

  • Sandler Selling System - A professional selling system that will help you learn how to establish the relationship with a prospect, qualify a prospect and implement the solution.
  • Kansas City Life Career Schools
  • American College Programs - Designation Reimbursement (i.e. CFP, ChFC, etc)
  • In-house Product Specialists for each line of business: Life Insurance, Annuities, Disability Income, Investments, and Pension & Qualified Plans. These specialists are available to you for consulting on more complex cases that normally you might not be able to produce on your own.
  • Joint work with Product Specialists and Senior Advisors
