Daniel Ruiz

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Daniel has been married to his wonderful wife for 33 years, and has been blessed with 3 boys. Daniel is also more recently the proud grandfather of 2 beautiful grandchildren.

Daniel obtained an Associate Degree in Electronics from the Loyola Polytechnic Institute in the Dominican Republic. After working for 3 years for Westinghouse Electric Corporation, he migrated to the United States in 1988. Daniel then decided to make the move to Indiana and became a Hoosier in 1992. After 15 years of self-employment in Retail, Service, Real Estate Investment and some additional education in Electrical Engineering from IUPUI, he decided to use his bilingual and bicultural skills to become a free-lance entrepreneur. Daniel went to work for 6 years for a national bank in the Student Loan Department. While working for the bank, his passion for finance was born.

This passion pushed Daniel toward a path of growth, development and opportunity. Influencing him to seek out more for the skills he acquired throughout his life. Daniel decided to explore an opportunity with The Spectrum Financial Group in 2020 and has not looked back. At Spectrum, we work as a team to help good people find creative ways of attaining their financial goals. Daniel is currently licensed in Life & Health and Property & Casualty Insurance, where he focuses in Family Protection, Saving for Retirement and Self-Employed Business Continuation Planning.

Daniel’s next goal is to obtain his credentials to become a Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). As he builds his practice, he wants to welcome a diverse clientele with one solemn promise: “your financial interest and well-being will be first and above his own interest”.
